These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LanternCards website, online store, content, and services (collectively, the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, or purchasing products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Policies referenced here, including our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.


1) Eligibility & Account

  • Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Site only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

  • Account creation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized use.

  • Accuracy of information. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.


2) Orders, Pricing & Availability

  • Offer & acceptance. Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or reject any order and may limit quantities per order, household, or customer.

  • Pricing. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. We may correct errors or inaccuracies, and cancel orders affected by pricing or availability errors, even after you receive an order confirmation. If we cancel, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item(s).

  • Taxes. We collect taxes as required by law based on the shipping destination and applicable regulations. You are responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or fees.

  • Promotions & coupons. Promotions are for a limited time and subject to additional terms. Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined or applied to prior purchases and are non‑transferable.

  • Gift cards/store credit. Non‑refundable except where required by law. Treat like cash; lost or stolen balances may not be replaced.


3) Payments

  • Payment methods. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout and use third‑party processors to securely process transactions.

  • Authorization. By submitting a payment, you authorize us and our processor to charge your payment method for the order total and any applicable taxes, shipping, and fees.

  • Chargebacks. We may contest chargebacks or disputes we believe are improper. This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.


4) Shipping, Risk of Loss & Title

  • Shipping. We ship to the addresses and regions shown at checkout. Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times are provided during checkout.

  • Risk of loss & title. Risk of loss and title pass to you upon our delivery of items to the carrier, except as otherwise required by law. Signature may be required for high‑value orders.

  • Delivery issues. If a package is returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by you, we may charge additional shipping to re‑send. Inspect packages upon receipt and contact us within a reasonable time regarding any issues.


5) Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

  • General policy. Subject to applicable law and any product‑specific notices on the product page or at checkout, unopened sealed products may be returned in original condition within 14 days of delivery. Singles (individual cards) may be returned within 7 days only if not as described (e.g., wrong item, materially different condition).

  • Return process. Contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before sending anything back. Items returned without an RMA or in used/opened condition may be refused or assessed a restocking fee.

  • Refunds. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (minus original shipping, unless the return is due to our error) after we receive and inspect the returned items.

  • Cancellations. We may accept order cancellation requests before fulfillment. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel any order for suspected fraud, pricing/stock errors, or policy violations, with a refund for cancelled items.

  • Damaged or missing items. Report carrier‑damaged packages or missing contents promptly; keep all packing materials for investigation.


6) TCG‑Specific Conditions (Singles & Sealed)

  • Condition grades. Unless otherwise stated, singles are graded using industry‑standard categories (e.g., Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played). Grading involves reasonable judgment, and minor variations can occur between graders.

  • Images & stock photos. Product images may be stock photos. The actual item may vary slightly (e.g., set symbol, print run, stamp) but will match the product listing description.

  • Market volatility. Trading card prices are volatile. After purchase, price changes (up or down) will not affect your completed order.

  • Sealed product policy. Sealed items must remain unopened to qualify for return (except where required by law). Manufacturer‑sealed contents and pull rates are not guaranteed by us.

  • Authenticity. We do not knowingly sell counterfeit products. If you believe you received a counterfeit item, contact us immediately; we will investigate and, if confirmed, provide an appropriate remedy under these Terms and applicable law.


7) Preorders & Backorders

  • Release dates. Preorder release dates are set by manufacturers and may change. We ship preorders when we receive inventory.

  • Mixed carts. Orders containing both in‑stock and preorder items may ship together on the latest release unless we offer and you select split shipments at checkout (additional shipping charges may apply).

  • Allocations. If we receive fewer units than anticipated, we may reduce or cancel quantities equitably across orders, issuing refunds for unfulfilled items.


8) Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to place orders or access the Site without permission;

  • Interfere with security, integrity, or performance of the Site;

  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive conduct;

  • Infringe intellectual property or other rights;

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

We may monitor, suspend, or terminate access for violations and to protect our customers and business.


9) Intellectual Property & Content

  • Ownership. The Site, including text, graphics, logos, product names, and other content, is owned by LanternCards or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

  • Limited license. We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non‑commercial purposes in compliance with these Terms.

  • Trademarks. Third‑party names and trademarks (e.g., Pokémon®, Magic: The Gathering®) are the property of their respective owners. LanternCards is not affiliated with or endorsed by those rights holders.

  • Feedback. If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction and without obligation to you.


10) Third‑Party Services

The Site may link to or integrate third‑party websites or services (e.g., payment processors, analytics providers). We do not control third‑party services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of third‑party services is subject to their terms and policies.


11) Disclaimers

  • As‑is. Except as expressly stated, the Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

  • No guarantee. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation of the Site.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusions of certain warranties, so some disclaimers may not apply to you.


12) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LanternCards and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits or revenues; or loss of data or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Site or purchase of products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if the claim does not relate to a product.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.


13) Dispute Resolution, Governing Law & Venue (U.S.)

  • Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws principles.

  • Binding arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider and conducted in Maricopa County, Arizona, in English. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

  • Class‑action waiver. You and LanternCards agree that each may bring claims only in your/its individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

  • 30‑day opt‑out. You may opt out of arbitration and the class‑action waiver by sending us written notice within 30 days of the date you first agree to these Terms; your notice must include your name, the email associated with your account or order, and a statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.

Consumers in jurisdictions that do not permit mandatory arbitration or class‑action waivers will retain any non‑waivable rights.


14) Consumers Outside the U.S.

If you reside outside the United States, you may have additional rights under your local consumer laws that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in these Terms limits such rights.


15) Changes to the Site & These Terms

We may modify the Site, product offerings, and these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Changes will apply prospectively.


16) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms. Upon termination, provisions intended to survive (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute resolution) will continue in effect.


17) Miscellaneous

  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, sale, or other corporate transaction.

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with any additional policies or terms referenced herein (including our Privacy Policy) and any order‑specific terms at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and LanternCards regarding the Site and your purchases.

  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

  • Notices. We may send notices electronically, including via email or by posting on the Site.
